Professor and Director of Choral Organizations at Duquesne University, Christine is a graduate of the Kodály Musical Training Institute and has taught and conducted in Hungary. She is known for her many contributions to music education in America. She has held leadership roles in many professional organizations, including the presidency of the Organization of American Kodály Educators, and has been nationally recognized for her leadership in the movement to implement the National Standards in Arts Education in higher education.

Professor Jordanoff will work with 10 pre-selected conductors on either a movement of the Fauré Requiem, or any repertoire from the Pueri Cantores Festival (occurring at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral the next morning.) This workshop presents an excellent opportunity for all in attendance to hone their conducting gesture, gather new rehearsal techniques, and learn about this wonderful repertoire.
